Christian Education

In some Seminary programs students have been advised to read the Bible in one hand and the New York Times in the other. We cannot afford to let the NY times become our contentpix12bible.  We cannot afford to let CBS, NBC, or the internet become our Bibles.  The media does not have the last word; it has a word but not the last word.  God’s word is important for us as we develop our position we cannot afford only to hear about the Dow Jones: we need to know that “The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof and they that dwell there in.”  It is our vision to have every member of our congregation involved in ongoing Christian education learning.  Therefore we provide a wide variety of classes, workshops, seminars, retreats, and small groups to facilitate the biblical, spiritual, and cultural growth and transformation of our members.
