Mount Olive Family Life Center:

Growing Together, Building in Faith!

During this prosperous time of the New Economy, much has been said about the benefits of becoming a virtual organization.

Mount Olive Baptist Church is on the bleeding edge of technological ministry and understands true success lies in the ability to converge business models and practices.

We understand the necessity to give our community quick access to a brick and mortar facility that will teach and promote the opportunities of click access.

The Mount Olive Family Life Center will be a physical cornerstone in shaping, molding, and building our community click by click, through laying a solid foundation brick by brick.

Support the Mount Olive Family Life Center.

No gift is too small!

Your participation as a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church should be in response to your own conscience and ability, as God gives you direction and understanding. Together, we should pray that everyone will find an acceptable amount within their personal budget, so that we all can enjoy the benefits of God's blessing on our combined giving.

Not equal giving - equal sacrifice!

We all do things everyday that we take for granted: that extra cup of coffee before you get to the office, that candy bar you buy on the way home from school, or maybe it's the weekend with the girls. Fellas night out or that pair of new sneakers that you HAVE to get now! While there isn't anything wrong with any of these things, perhaps the money you use to do them could be put to a greater use.

Look how quickly "little" can become "much!"

In case you're wondering:

What is the purpose of conducting a financial support program...

We are joining together as a church family and friends to raise a sufficient amount for regular monthly giving, over and above our normal giving, in order to support our building program project - The Mount Olive Family Life Center. This monthly financial support will be to make the regular monthly payments on the money we need to borrow from a lender.

How much should you give...

It would be both impractical and improper for anyone other than you to determine how much you should give. This amount is between you and God! Each person or family should prayerfully consider how the Lord has blessed them, and then make a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly commitment to be paid over the next three years. Since we don't want to hinder our current ministry programs, it is important that your financial commitment be an amount over and above what you normally give to the Church in tithes and offerings.

Can you make one commitment for your entire family...

Commitments can be made either as a family unit, or on an individual basis. It is important, however, that you involve your children or encourage other young people to get involved in some way so that they will develop a sense of ownership toward their church and our ministries.

How and where do you make your commitment...

Your pledge - what you plan to give over the next three years - should be made using the pledge card to be passed out and collected on Sunday, June 11th. On this day, we will come together to make a commitment to Grow Together, and Build in Faith our Family Life Center. You may begin giving immediately by designating an amount on your envelopes and then use the Family Life Center building fund envelopes available on June 11th.

Don't Miss Commitment Sunday, June 11th at 10:30 am

We'll break ground for our Family Life Center and begin our full press toward the vision that God has given us. It will be a celebration you want to be a part of and share with your family and friends!
