Music and Worship Arts

God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth - John 4:24

The MOBC Music and Worship Arts Ministries under the direction of Elder Carl Phipps is made up of dedicated, anointed choir members, skilled musicians and gifted actors/dancers presenting Holiness. At MOBC we present a holistic approach of music from praise and worship songs, anthem, hymns to gospel music.

Seeing that music is a vital part of the Christian inheritance our aim is to glorify the Lord and to see His glory be manifested in the lives of the congregation. Worship involves the recognition that all persons regardless of race, class, or gender can experience the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As we lift Jesus up in praise and worship it will lift the individual out of his/her isolation bringing them into the presence of the Holy of Holies.

At MOBC we believe that Music and Arts play a key role in bringing the believers heart to touch the heart of God, and in return the Lord touches us. As the people see the scriptures in a visual expression form, the Holy Spirit then works, healing, restoring hearts and lives for God's glory.

Sanctuary Choir	Open to all members of Mount Olive and is comprised of all music members who are 18 years of age and older
Psalms	Open to all members of Mount Olive geared towards our young adults who love a smaller group ages from 19-45
Youth 4 Christ	This choir is open to our youth who are between the ages of 6 and 18
Judah	Appointed singers of praise and worship
Men of Praise	Open to all men of Mount Olive
