“Youth are the Light of the World and We are the Future”

It is our present and future generations of youth of Mount Olive Baptist Church who we believe embody the “Promise of Hope.” As the Youth Pastor, with the support of the Senior Pastor and our Youth Advisors, we have designed our Youth Ministry to develop, and engage our young people to be future leaders of tomorrow. In these exciting times of change, transformation and evolution, we have designed programs, to encourage potential, selected events to sharpened skill levels and mentors to guide and direct our youth on their paths to success and blessings. We want to invite all youth between the ages of 6-18, to join in dance, song, community service, worship, college preparation, praise, fellowship, drama, entrepreneurship and fun- by being a part of the Youth Ministry of Mount Olive Baptist Church. Come and be a part of the making of history, while you make history.

The Youth Choir is designed for young people who desire to learn about and explore the awesome power of Christ through the ministry of song.  The musical focus of this group revolves around age appropriate Christ centered music.

This is a program that caters to young men and women ages 12-18.  We have a group of mentors to help guide and mentor the young people and have planned social events, educational trips, and outside speakers.

Mount Olive Baptist Church is a community where we foster leadership and service at an early age.  That same spirit brought about the MOBC Youth Church which meets twice a month in an effort to give the youth a chance to lead worship through preparing the message, praying, and singing the songs of Zion.  This specialized service helps to illustrate the importance and the sanctity of worship and the part it should play in their daily lives.  It is their place to grow and evolve in the Lord.
