Welcome to Mount Olive Baptist Church
The Christian life involves more than believing - It also includes belonging. We grow in Christ by being in relationship to other Christians. Romans 12:10 says "Be devoted to one another in brotherly love." In too many organizations, membership simply means that your name is on a roster somewhere, or that you pay membership dues. Membership in the Christian church means far more than that. Membership in a church means that you are to the Church what a vital organ is to the body. The body does not function up to capacity without each vital organ. Likewise, if membership in the Church is not active, ultimately the Church will shrivel up and die.

We want you to be an active part of Mount Olive Baptist Church. We want you to grow toward Christian maturity. In order for that to happen, we know that it is our responsibility to offer a variety of classes and opportunities for you to grow. Too many people assume that once a person has received Christ that their Christian journey is over. In fact, their journey is just beginning. At Mount Olive we will do our best to help you to grow toward Christian maturity.
